Refund & Return Policy

Thank you for choosing APYEAR. All our products undergo rigorous testing by our quality inspection team before shipment. If you encounter any quality issues, please reach out to us at apyearebike@outlook.com. You can expect a response within 48 hours.

30-Day Return & Money Back Guarantee: Returns of unused and unopened items are accepted within 30 days of the purchase date, excluding 'As Is' items & Replacement Parts (see below). Retaining the original packaging during this period is advisable. Contact us to initiate a return or inquire about any additional applicable policies.

Returns Packaging & Condition: Only items in their original packaging are eligible for return. Sending an item back in non-original packaging will immediately void the customer's refund. Unfortunately, replacement boxes cannot be provided. Customers are reminded of this in their Order Confirmation Email and Shipping Confirmation Email, emphasizing the importance of retaining packaging for the first 30 days.

Please exercise care when returning items. Just as we take precautions to ensure proper boxing/packaging, we expect customers to do the same for returns.

All returns undergo inspection upon arrival. If an item arrives damaged due to poor customer boxing/packing, this will impact the refund amount. Severely damaged goods resulting from inadequate customer boxing/packaging may even lead to no refund at all.

When APYEAR Covers Return Shipping:

  1. If you receive a damaged or defective item, we will exchange it or cover the return shipping fee.

  2. Details are as follows:

  3. Item arrived defective and cannot be fixed with a replacement part

  4. We shipped the wrong item

  5. We shipped it to the wrong address

  6. We shipped a duplicate order

  7. Item malfunctioned during the 30-day returns period (assuming the customer assembled the item properly per the instruction manual)

IMPORTANT:

  • For damaged or defective items, YOU MUST provide video/photos to support your claim.
  • If a customer claims an item is defective/damaged, proof must be provided before return, with no exceptions.
  • Once we receive the approved returned item, we will review its condition and issue a refund.

When the Customer Covers Return Shipping: In cases of return due to customer error, return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Pre-paid return shipping labels are not provided. Original shipping and handling costs will be deducted from the refund. Examples of customer returns include:

  1. Buyer's Remorse
  2. No Reason / No Longer Want
  3. Misinterpretation of Product Description
  4. Order Cancellation after shipping
  5. Customer error (wrong item, wrong address)

After the 30-day returns period, customers can use APYEAR's product warranty for repairs if the item is faulty or malfunctioning.

3. Our Warranty Period is One Year! A one-year warranty guarantees remedies for product defects. It does not generally allow a refund but assures resolution through repair or product replacement.

Exchange Processing Flow: Step 1: Contact us at apyearebike@outlook.com to report the issue and confirm the solution. Step 2: Send pictures of the shipped item and the tracking number. Maintenance fees depend on warranty coverage. Step 3: We confirm receipt and assess the problem. Provide specific contact details. Step 4: We send the repaired or replacement item back to you.

Refund Policy: This policy applies to products purchased directly from the APYEAR website (https://www.apyearebike.com/). If purchased from a different retailer, refer to their refund policy.

Refunds (less shipping and restocking fees) are applied to the original payment method once the return is processed in our warehouse. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. The return process takes approximately 5 to 10 business days following arrival at our warehouse. Full refunds may take days to months, varying by merchant or banking institution.

If returning a product that came with a free promotional item, the free item must be returned with the original order for a full refund.

Orders Returned without Delivery (Refusing Delivery): Returned orders due to undeliverability or refusal to accept delivery are considered 'customer error (buyer’s remorse)' with our standard Return Policy applicable, including 15% restocking fees and return shipping charges.

Note: Order Cancellation:

  1. Orders generally ship within 1-2 business days. To cancel, contact us at EbikeAftersaleUS@outlook.com before shipping.
  2. If shipped, it's treated as 'customer error,' with standard Return Policy applied. Return shipping fees and 15% restocking fees apply. A return shipping label will be provided via apyearebike@outlook.com.
  3. If the return is caused by the consumer, consumer should be responsible for the shipping fee. The specific fee should be based on the express company you choose.

    If due to our reasons, the goods received are damaged or not correct, and the consumer is not required to bear the shipping fee for this reason.
