WARRANTY

APYEAR LIMITED 1-YEAR WARRANTY AND POLICY ON REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES & RESPONSIBILITIES

All APYEAR bikes come with a comprehensive 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects for the owner, excluding free accessories.

WARRANTY PERIOD AND TERMS FOR TARGET AUDIENCE

The warranty is automatically registered when the initial purchaser orders it online. It is applicable to the initial purchaser, and the 1-year warranty period begins upon the initial owner's receipt of the bike.

For warranty transfer, the e-bike transferee can only enjoy the warranty under the following conditions:

  1. The 1-year package hasn't expired since the initial owner received it.
  2. You have the initial owner's name and the initial order number.

COVERED PRODUCTS

APYEAR will replace any component deemed defective or damaged, excluding user errors. The warranty covers specific products as outlined below:

Frame:

  • APYEAR e-bike frames are covered by a replacement warranty for 1 year.
  • Excluded frame issues: corrosion, paint fade, scratches, impact marks, non-reversible modification, chain guard mount, if applicable.

Batteries:

  • APYEAR batteries are covered by a 1-year prorated warranty.
  • During the first year, defective batteries will be repaired or replaced at no cost.
  • After the first year, a prorated credit will be applied towards a new battery purchase.

Parts & Components:

  • Original APYEAR parts & components are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
  • Exclusions: ordinary wear and tear not due to defects, parts compromised due to corrosion, damage to the product's surface finish, appearance, or aesthetics.

LIMITED WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Defects or damage resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, abnormal use, improper storage, exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand, dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electrical, or electromechanical stress.
  • Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage not caused by APYEAR.
  • Products with removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or illegible serial numbers or barcodes.
  • Defects or damage caused by using unapproved accessories or equipment.
  • Defects or damage resulting from improper assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment.

CLAIMS PROCESS

1. Warranty Claims: All warranty claims must be made through APYEAR via EbikeAftersaleUS@outlook.com. Proof of purchase and photos or videos of the damaged product are required. Valid claims will be processed within 1 year of the initial purchase.

2. Shipping Damage Claims: In case of shipping damage, contact EbikeAftersaleUS@outlook.com with photo or video proof. Claims must be made within 7 days of product receipt.

Note: Free accessories are not eligible for replacement or compensation for scratches during transportation.
